Your Brain: The Final Frontier

Discovering the obvious and beating it like a dead horse.

A President Without A Plan

I think our national leadership is out of touch with reality. Can anyone be more inept than President Obama and his White House Staff? It is evident that President Obama is totally dedicated to a dreamworld of wishes and hopes that are based in pure fiction. The President’s State of the Union Address is nothing more than the latest exhibition of confusion. I’d call it propaganda, but people who spew propaganda typically know their message is false and intentionally craft their message to mislead. In reading the President’s Address, it causes me to conclude that he does not even know his words are false. I suspect that he has been living in a dreamworld for so long, he actually believes what he says. His speech writers may know their words are false and they may have set out to produce and disseminate propaganda, but President Obama seems to be too deeply indoctrinated to be implicated in the effort to mislead the public. If you want to see what President Obama will sound like in 10 years, listen to something Nancy Pelosi has said within the past month. The President is simply in the earlier stages of whatever has attacked Nancy Pelosi’s brain.

The first hints at unbridled delusion take place early in the Address. These include the suggestion that the U.S. economy is the best in the world, strong, improving, etc…

“The United States of America, right now, has the strongest, most durable economy in the world.”

One can only make this claim if he or she is totally disinterested in the truth. Can we say we are “one of” the strongest? Yes. And we can probably say we are the most durable, but that is not due to any actions of the Obama Administration. Most people will agree that we are less durable than we were in the past. The fact that the American economy is still near the top of the world economy is due to the American people, not the American President, and some experts are looking at the future with serious concern. The future of our economy depends on the American people and not on anything President Obama is going to do in his last 11 months.

But economics are only part of the picture and I believe they hinge on deeper issues. Once we get our country back on track with regard to marriage, family, children, virtue and other fundamental truths, we will see a consistent stabilization of everything else, including our economy.

One immediate threat to our economy, the American way of life and to the safety of our children is the violence we are experiencing at home and abroad. This is where our Commander and Chief dives even more deeply into delusion in saying:

“Now, as someone who begins every day with an intelligence briefing, I know this is a dangerous time. But that’s not primarily because of some looming superpower out there, and it’s certainly not because of diminished American strength. In today’s world, we’re threatened less by evil empires and more by failing states.”

I am sure the information provided in the intelligence briefing is thorough. I question the President’s attention to the information and his comprehension of the information. In my opinion, the threat is not from failing states in the Mideast, it is from the ineptitude we have exhibited in regard to dealing with the evil that is filling the void left behind by the failing states. We arm the rebels who cause the collapse of governments in Iraq, Libya, Egypt and others, then those rebels turn out to be terrorists as soon as the secular rulers are executed. Someone needs to tell the White House to stop handing weapons to evil people who are certain to use the weapons to gain power so they can begin beheading and executing everyone who disagrees with a strict interpretation of the Quran.

“The Middle East is going through a transformation that will play out for a generation, rooted in conflicts that date back millennia”.

Based on the President’s past comments on the history of the Middle East, it is evident that he has no idea that the “transformation” began thousands of years ago as explained in the book of Genesis (see for instance Gen 16:12). He has no idea that Islam likely began in the 7th century and was primarily a militaristic conquest by non-Christians against Christians. He has no idea that the Christian Crusades against Muslims were all either in defense of historically Christian lands or efforts to recover Christian lands from the hands of Muslim aggressors who had taken the lands from Christians in the first place. The struggle has been taking place for thousands of years and will almost certainly last for many generations, if not until the 2nd coming of Christ.

“…the international system we built after World War II is now struggling to keep pace with this new reality. It’s up to us to help, the United States of America, to help remake that system.”

This appears to be President Obama’s application to be the next Secretary General of the United Nations. For a person with President Obama’s ego, the U.S. Presidency is merely a humble and necessary stepping stone to becoming the ruler of the the entire world. Since he is the least popular President since Jimmy Carter and actually makes Jimmy look fairly competent, I truly hope his application is rejected by the people at the UN.

“And to do that well, it means that we’ve got to set priorities. Priority number one is protecting the American people and going after terrorist networks.”

Unfortunately, the President does not believe ISIS, the San Bernardino shootings or the attempt to assasinate officer Jesse Hartnett in Philadelphia. Here is an idea, instead of just going after “networks”, let’s go after the terrorists. Better yet, once we have terrorists in prison, let’s keep them there instead of sending them back to the Middle East where they go back to killing and murdering Americans and other people who are not sufficiently Muslim. One way to spot both networks and terrorists is to pay attention to people who advocate for violence against America. As unpleasant as it is to Mr. Obama and so many on his staff, there are many Muslims who currently live in the U.S. and advocate for violence against America. It is perfectly fine to arrest these people and prosecute them or deport them. The fact that many of them are Muslim should not cause us to expose our throat to them.

Both Al Qaida and now ISIL pose a direct threat to our people, because in today’s world, even a handful of terrorists who place no value on human life, including their own, can do a lot of damage. They use the Internet to poison the minds of individuals inside our country; their actions undermine and destabilize our allies. We have to take them out.”

First, there is more than a handful of terrorists. If you restrict yourself to simply numbering the terrorists who already live in the United States, research shows it is likely much more than a handful. But why let facts get in the way of a fun speech, right?

Secondly, the Islamic terrorists are using much more than the internet to poison the minds of people across the globe. Their primary tool is the Quran. They use verses from the Quran to justify all they do, including kidnapping, the subjugation of women, rape, murder, slavery, etc… If they could not point to the Quran to justify their horrid acts, they would have no lasting power. Unfortunately, there are over 1.6 billion Muslims in the world and too many of them shrink from denouncing terrorism because they know the Quran teaches the very things the terrorists are doing.

But as we focus on destroying ISIL, over-the-top claims that this is World War III just play into their hands. Masses of fighters on the back of pickup trucks, twisted souls plotting in apartments or garages, they pose an enormous danger to civilians, they have to be stopped, but they do not threaten our national existence. That is the story ISIL wants to tell; that’s the kind of propaganda they use to recruit.”

Please do not forget that this very president once said that ISIS (he insists on calling them ISIL) was simply the J.V. squad compared to Al Qaida. Just a day before the Paris attacks he said ISIS was contained. He’s now saying ISIS does not threaten our national existence. President Obama has been wrong on many claims, not the least of which are the two I just noted. I also think he’s wrong about the threat to our national existence.

If we look at Europe, we can see the impact of Muslim imigration in Germany, Great Britain, Sweden, France, etc… European leaders such as Germany’s Angela Merkel and Sweden’s Stefan Löfven, have a history of  shaming other European countries for failing to welcome Muslim immigrants. It appears too many European leaders failed to recognize the impact that Muslim immigration would have. The impact has been magnified by the fact that the birth rates in most Western European countries has been extremely low for a long time, while the Muslim population has grown and will continue to grow rapidly due to the high birth rate of Muslim immigrants. It should be noted that the birth rate for the United States has been declining and is at a historic low. It seems that artificial birth control, abortion, the child-free lifestyle and the embrace of the LGBT agenda have all played a roll in the rate of live births in our country. It should also be noted that artificial contraception, abortion and homosexuality are all prohibited in Islam.

Now that European countries are starting to realize the demographic shift in their culture, they are beginning to incentivize child birth in an effort to increase the birth rate in their country.

We don’t need to build them up to show that we’re serious, and we sure don’t need to push away vital allies in this fight by echoing the lie that ISIL is somehow representative of one of the world’s largest religions.”

I wonder if an aggressive military response would show we are serious? I wonder if aggressively investigating suspects who already live in the U.S. would show we are serious? I think it would be good if we could openly state that someone is a terrorist as soon as we confirm that they shot a police officer 16 times in the name of Allah or as soon as we learn that a person has pledged allegiance to ISIS shortly before storming into a conference room and murdering unarmed civilians.

Maybe we should not cower to Iran when they board our military vessels and take our soldiers captive. Maybe the Obama administration should stop releasing Islamic terrorists from Guantanimo Bay, such as Muhammad Abd Al Rahman Awn Al-Shamrani, who was just released. Al-Shamrani’s file file discloses the fact that he is considered high-risk and has promised to kill Americans. Since the President’s State of the Union Address, he has approved the release of 10 more terrorists, but the federal government will not release their names.

Whether or not ISIS is representative of the one of the world’s largest religions is a very sticky issue these days. Here is the way I look at it: The vast majority of people who identify as Muslim are considered “moderate” muslims. This means that they do not advocate violence or that they do not adhere to the violent teachings in the Quran. This actually makes them caffeteria Muslims. The Quran says what it says and ISIS picks out the really violent verses and places them front and center. But the fact is, the really violent verses are in the Quran and when read in context with the rest of the Quran, they fit in with the entire book. So the majority of Muslims who are not supportive of ISIS are actually not really following true Islam. Some of these caffeteria Muslims are actually fighting ISIS, but most are not. Most are trying to remain neutral, but in doing so, they are actually assisting ISIS. If all “moderate” muslims would rise up against ISIS and join forces with the rest of the non-Muslim world in doing so, ISIS would be wiped out in an instant and so would most of Militant Islam. This isn’t happening no matter how warm and fuzzy the President is and how reluctant he is to call a terrorist a terrorist. We should just be honest about terrorism and Islam. Honesty may cause some temporary struggles, but in the end, it is the only way to address the problem.

We just need to call them what they are: killers and fanatics who have to be rooted out, hunted down, and destroyed.”

They are fanatics to those of us who think we are living in peacetime with no more than a handfull of criminals running around causing nuisances. But to believe we are living in peacetime right now is to ignore reality. I think we should ask Seal Team 6 if we are living in peacetime. By the way, everytime one of President Obama’s supporters tries to tell you that Barack Obama killed Osama bin Laden, remind them that United States soldiers killed Osama bin Laden while President Obama and Hillary Clinton watched it on a computer screen in the safest building in the world, then returned to warm and comfy beds for a satisfying slumber.

The President goes on in an attempt to make it sound like he has orchestrated a highly effective military response to ISIS and the other Islamic terrorist organizations. However, the facts show otherwise. Islamic terrorists move freely across borders, meet safely and successfully in many countries and cities across the globe and continue their deathgrip on the unfortunate victims within their sphere of influence. I believe that we can all see that the President’s grand scheme is not working.

As the President moved on to other topics, he took a moment to warn Americans that it is wrong to target people based on their religion. I wonder if he thought that as his staff was drafting Obamacare to place Catholic institutions in its crosshairs. This would explain the Obama Administration’s unrelenting attack on the Little Sisters of the Poor.

These are just a few of my thoughts on the President’s State of the Union Address, which I think should have been called the Misstatement of the Union.
